All exhibits to be staged by 9.30am in Old Dinning Room on Show day Note: Mr. L.Watkins will be in attendance at thye Old Dinning Room on Saturday prior to Show day to cater for exhibitors wishing to set up early. 1pm -4pm only. Any horticultural material or foliage allowed unless otherwise stated. Accessories allowed. All entries to be bona-fide work of exhibitor. No arrangement to be shifted or added to after placement by exhibitor. Only one entry permitted in each class. Niche width 76cm (2’6”) Note: Guidelines for prospective floral art exhibitors will be available on request free of charge from Steward Mr. L. Watkins. ALL ENTRIES TO THE STEWARD PLEASE ________________________________________________________________________ Class 1. Floral Arrangement with foliage in container of own choice. 2. Tall Arrangement using foliage only. 3. Derby Day at Flemington (interpretive). 4. Arrangement using Daisies only – foliage allowed. 5. Miniature Arrangement no higher than 10cm. 6. Bark and one Rose. 7. Arrangement in a Floral Jug. (to tone) 8.*** Dried Arrangement – Arrangement of own choice comprising both artificial and dried material. *** Winner to compete in Wimmera Zone Final. Each of the above eight class winners will be judged to determine the winner of the MOST OUTSTANDING FLORAL ART EXHIBIT for which a sash and trophy will be awarded donated by MRS. M. DUNMORE. The winner will also be presented with the MARY PRESTON PERPETUAL TROPHY to hold for the following twelve months. AGGREGATE TROPHY donated by MRS. M. DUNMORE will be awarded on a points system – First 2 points Second 1 point. ENCOURAGEMENT AWARD trophy donated by ARARAT GARDEN CLUB.
